Common Questions
We typically schedule new client assessments within 3-5 business days of your call. During peak season (spring and early summer), wait times may be slightly longer, but we always aim to get you on our schedule as quickly as possible. Existing customers with seasonal plans get priority scheduling and same-week service for concerns between visits.
Yes, when applied according to label directions as our technicians are trained to do, our products are safe for families. We recommend keeping children and pets off the treated area until the product has dried completely, which typically takes 1-2 hours depending on weather conditions. We also offer reduced-chemical and organic options for customers with specific concerns — just let us know when you schedule.
You should start seeing weeds curl and brown within 7-14 days after treatment. Complete elimination of established weeds typically occurs within 2-3 weeks. For best long-term results, we recommend a series of treatments throughout the growing season. Many of our customers see dramatic improvement after just two visits.
Our free assessment includes a walkthrough of your property with one of our technicians, identification of weed species present, evaluation of overall lawn health, soil condition assessment, discussion of your goals and concerns, and a customized treatment plan with pricing options. There's no obligation to book service after the assessment — we just want to give you the information you need to make the best decision for your lawn.
We stand behind our work. If you're not satisfied with the results of a treatment, we'll return at no additional charge to re-treat the affected areas. Our seasonal protection plans include this guarantee as part of your membership. We also provide detailed after-care instructions to help you get the best results from each treatment.
For most lawns in Cheyenne County, we recommend treatment every 6-8 weeks during the active growing season (April through October). This translates to about 6 visits per year. Our seasonal protection plans are designed around this schedule. Lawns with severe weed problems may benefit from more frequent initial treatments, followed by regular maintenance.
We service all of Cheyenne County, Nebraska, including Sidney, Gurley, Lodgepole, and the surrounding rural areas. Our primary service area covers a 30-mile radius around Sidney. If you're outside this area, give us a call anyway — we may still be able to help or can recommend a trusted colleague in your location.
We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. For seasonal protection plans, we offer annual payment with a 5% discount, or you can pay as you go for each visit. We can also set up automatic payments for your convenience. Payment is due at the time of service for single visits.
Not necessarily. As long as we can access your property, our technicians can perform the treatment while you're away. We'll leave a door hanger with details about what was applied and any special instructions. For gated properties or those with locked gates, we'll coordinate access with you in advance.
